Boubou trousers

At Dune&Pins, the boubou is a pair of summer trousers in 100% cotton wax, handmade in Bordeaux. A fluid straight cut, an elasticated waist, a print that carries the piece on its own. Not a ceremony garment you bring out twice a year: trousers you wear every day, with a white t-shirt, a light shirt or a tank top.

Each model is cut in small series in our atelier, with local partner seamstresses. Wax takes colour deeply, washes cold without losing its glow, and breathes where classic trousers stifle. Sharp enough for the city, free enough for the seaside.

Four styles are presented in pre-launch — red, ivory, coral and light blue. Pieces can be tried directly, without an appointment, at 15 rue Michel Montaigne in Bordeaux. Each product page also includes a pre-filled request, with no payment or binding order.
